Exhibit highlight Institute of Regional Innovation (IRI) has been launched in April, 2018, in Hirosaki University, coupled with North Japan Research Institute for Sustainable Energy and Institute for Food Sciences.
We start the action aimed at community support based on energy and food, with inheriting activity of North Japan Research Institute for Sustainable Energy and Institute for Food Sciences.
The role of the sustainable energy and food in Japan will encounter the drastic turning point. Under this context, the importance of regional community will increase more. Our new institute will equip the hub to connect between researchers and local residents, develop physical energy resources and the tendency to heighten the added value of application and food resources, and contribute the development of human resources through the education in our university.
