Sanyo Trading (Biomass Group) has been representing California Pellet Mill (CPM), the world’s leading supplier of process equipment, since 1956. In 2012, Sanyo established a sales record of 1,000 pelletizers. The company also handles equipment for mixing and blending, drying and cooling, sifting and particle size reduction. Customers are manufacturers of woody biomass, feeds for livestock animals and aquatic species.
One of the newest products is the wood gasifier with combined heat and power plant (CHP) from Burkhardt GmbH, Germany which uses pellets as fuel source. The first plant in Japan started operation in 2015. Using domestic pellets, it delivers electricity and heat to a neighboring mushroom factory and thus supports the concept of “local production for local consumption”. This is also the first successful establishment of a wood pellet gasifier in Japan. |
