The Collaborative Research Center (CRC) at Ashikaga Institute of Technology (AIT) has been conducting various activities since its foundation in 1998. Its assigned mission is assistance and mediation of joint researches of our faculty staff, education of regional people, and operation of the "Wind and Sun Square (WSS)" featuring verious kinds of renewable energy applications such as the triple hybrid renewable energy generation (THREG) system. CRC also provides educational programs utilizing the facility. Many items in the WSS are for the developing countries, Because of this peculiarity JICA assigned the facility for the site in the study tour for the foreign trainees. In 2011 we established the renewable energy and environment division in AIT taking advantage of accumulated knowledge through activities of CRC. |
